EOS Defense Systems USA is a manufacturer of cutting edge, precise remote weapons stations (RWS). We are looking for a top-notch Shipping & Receiving Specialist who will have a solid knowledge of, and experience with overseeing the shipping and receiving of items that will be required including interface with the Export/Import ITAR Compliance Department. This position is at the US manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL. This is an On-Site position.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

HS Diploma/GED 2-4 years related Shipping and Receiving / warehousing experience or equivalent work in like role Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills A Valid Drivers License. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Loads and unloads all shipments from suppliers and receives items into ERP System, and tracks items in ERP software throughout their disposition Maintains orderly receiving, shipping, and distribution operations by following all appropriate procedures and advising on improvements or needed changes to existing procedures Assists with coordination of scheduling, and arranging of shipments Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by ensuring that all safety and security processes are followed consistently. Prepares shipment documentation for both international and domestic shipments, including coordination with the Supply Chain Manager and Export/Import Compliance Officer. Prepares products for shipment by building pallets, constructing crates, shrink wrapping, and assembling tri-walls. Operates forklift and other equipment in compliance with safety regulations and internal procedures. Maintains clean and organized shipping/receiving warehouse areas including 5s principles where applicable. Other duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.
