J O B SUMMARY
Storeroom Receiving Clerk must safely work and operate machines and have awareness of machine safety requirements. They will be responsible for area housekeeping.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and report unsafe conditions Receives and stores material Unloading delivery trucks/sign for all deliveries Unpacks delivery shipments Compares packing lists to purchase orders, ensuring accurate deliveries Process goods receipt in SAP; scan packing list into IMS for AP Physically place inventory stock into correct storage location Process all out going Fed-ex shipments Help purchasing return items as needed against POs Process shipments for outgoing repairs Work with buyer to resolve shipment issues and PO discrepancies Responsible for follow-up with suppliers to assure deliveries, tags material as required Properly tags material received for stock and inventory management Properly prepare material and bill of lading for Outbound Shipments Support other team positions and functions as necessary Responsible for the housekeeping of work areas Perform other duties as assigned Participate in training and cross-training of new/current team members Perform PM activities as assigned Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Trade Certification preferred 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions; basic computer skills; able to read measuring devices/equipment Visual acuity to read and record numerical data Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a great work ethic Knowledge of industrial equipment and components is preferred Proven proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office); SAP experience is a plus Must have good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience with precision instruments (micrometers, calipers etc.) preferred
