Position Overview/ Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for facilitating processes related to picking activities ensuring that accuracy, quality, and shipping deadlines are met. Ensures orders are available for all picking areas reducing downtime. Maintains accurate flow of communication between leadership and all picking areas. Prioritizes workflow in alignment ship dates and workload capacity. Cross trains in adjacent areas of shipping and receiving for Clerk activities.

What We Are Looking For:
Education:

High school diploma required

Experience:

Two to four years experience in a shipping environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

Requires good judgment and decision-making ability. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word and RF scanning equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing: Communicates with supervision to align on weekly and daily picking volume expectations. Ensures communication for ship dates will meet production goals. Plays a key role in maintaining inventory and quality accuracy . Effectively communicate with all levels of employees to support business needs. Plays and active role in daily headcount placement. Follows processes and does not engage in shortcuts. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OHSA and other applicable standards. Reports issues and problems to Management. Ensure that safety/housekeeping regulations are met and that all employees are working in a safe environment.
