Hourly Non-Exempt Job Summary:

A Receiving Lead is responsible for all aspects of receiving, storage, distribution of raw goods and materials and warehouse organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform all necessary lead functions to effectively and efficiently coordinate the receiving operations in the warehouse. Timely inter department communication in receiving related issues. Sends all packing lists with confirmed received goods to logistics daily. Reports questionable product quality to logistics. Unloads trucks in a safe and timely manner or directs others accordingly. Maintains warehouse in a clean and safe manner. Prepare incoming and receiving paperwork with labels. Greet and process inbound truck drivers. Operate forklift truck or use hand truck/pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Must have current forklift certification issued within the last 3 years when operating a forklift 2. Minimal 1 year experience operating as a receiving clerk 3. Must be able to read and comprehend work orders in English 4. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled building which may be quite cold in the winter and close to 100 degrees in the summer 5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 6. Neatness and organizational skills are required 7. Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack 8. PC skills to print labels. Experience with using Great Plains software is preferred, and if not known, must be able train and be using the software efficiently within 3 months of hire date.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must undergo a background check.
