Responsibilities:
Conduct shipping and receiving activities using dealership procedures. Report all overages and shortages to the inventory Control Clerk. Stock all parts and accessories in their correct bins and/or locations. Control all special and emergency orders by tagging them and notifying the appropriate person. Ship all parts and accessories in accordance with the carriers shipping instructions (i.e., route, ups, bus, express, etc.) Maintain the physical inventory by keeping stock – (1) in the proper location (2) in the sealable condition and (3) free of safety hazards. Maintain bins, racks, and other equipment in working order. Notify management of any needed repairs. keep bin labels and location designations accurate and up-to-date. Conduct a perpetual inventory as directed by management. Dealership’s shipping and receiving procedures are adhered to. promised delivery times to customers are kept.
