Job Title Shipping Clerk Position Location Miramar, FL Pay/hours for position 1. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 2. $17 hourly Requirements of position 1. A high school diploma/GED, supply chain management, or a related field is required. 2. Experience in an inventory and warehouse logistics environment. 3. Relevant coursework and knowledge in operations management, analysis, accounting, and finance. 4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 5. Excellent organizational and administrative skills 6. Exemplary customer care skills 7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills 8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet and database software like Microsoft Excel, Word, or all Microsoft programs 9. A background in an industry-related field, such as engineering or healthcare, is advantageous. 10. Bilingual in English and Spanish Responsibilities of position 1. Coordinate with Brokers and transportation providers to ensure the prompt and proper movement of shipments. 2. Coordinate closely with external/internal customers to ensure that pick-up times align with their schedules. 3. Elaborate on the Packing List document according to the customers’ requirements 4. Develop and implement inventory strategies to improve operations and reduce costs. 5. Reviewing work orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy 6. Track and rectify inventory and shipping errors. 7. Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards. 8. Coordinate with the customer’s logistics department. 9. Respond to and follow up on all inquiries (written and verbal) from customers, both external and internal 10. Collaborate closely with the sales department, manufacturing, and customers to ensure the packing list and documentation meet the requirements. 11.
