Warehouse – Shipping and Receiving 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Fort Mill, SC 29708 Stafast Products, Fort Mill, SC Warehouse Facilitator Shipping /
Receiving:
Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers. Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies. Prepares shipments from bill of ladings, properly packaging and labeling for shipment using the UPS system as well as others. Contacting truck lines as needed for pickups. Maintains shipping and receiving standards by following procedures. Participates in physical inventory and is part of the team held accountable for discrepancies.
General:
Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, displaying a positive attitude and communicating effectively. Strives for excellence in quality by following applicable procedures and work instructions. Performs a variety of tasks, daily, with manual dexterity skills and the ability to lift 50 pounds continually, throughout the day. Efficiently uses the company computer system as it applies to the position (training is provided on Stafast software). Maintain a driving record acceptable to our insurance company. Operate and maintain a forklift truck in accordance to safety standards.
