JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing packages, preparing inventory for order fulfillment, providing material support for Sample Prep stations in the Ops Center, and supporting Customer Service requests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, opens, accounts for package content, and prepare samples for processing Processes images, assigns product codes and service levels, generates barcodes, routes samples to other departments, and follows-up on incomplete customer samples and paperwork Processes outgoing packages, including packaging and shipping materials for internal departments Processes and fulfills customer supply order requests, coordinating by phone, email, or other communication methods Stocks onsite inventory to ensure sufficient materials on hand, working with Leads and the Sales and Marketing Team for on-time order fulfillment Monitors and responds to service requests in the Customer Service Supply email and voicemail boxes, respond to inquiries and distribute unrelated requests to the appropriate teams Supports Customer Service as needed to clarify customer requests Ships items for internal departments and handle returned items, delivering them to the Sales and Marketing Team Collaborates with shipping couriers to resolve issues with receipt or shipping of packages Works with team leads to optimize workflow and provide additional support to other departments as needed Supports Business Continuity Plan (BCP) during Disaster Recovery efforts
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent At least one (1) year of experience in an office environment Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks Effective problem solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Embraces creativity and positive change Consistently demonstrates integrity and ethics Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
