Supports shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Primary Responsibilities Prepare, pack, label, and stage outgoing shipments; verify contents against orders and packing lists. Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts in inventory and shipping systems. Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight) to schedule pickups. Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklift if certified). Track shipping metrics and generate related reports. Investigate and report discrepancies or damages. Assist priming in inventory control, stock rotations, and warehouse housekeeping. Ensure shipments adhere to hazardous material or special packaging requirements when needed. Follow safety and quality procedures, including FOD control where applicable. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of shipping and receiving or general warehouse experience. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning tech preferred. Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills (MS Office, shipping software). Physically capable of lifting up to ~50 lbs; able to stand, bend, and lift repeatedly. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environment. Understanding of freight documentation (Bill of Lading, commercial invoices). Experience scheduling with major carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL).
