Job Description:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and operating forklifts to move automotive parts and materials. This individual plays a vital role in keeping our warehouse organized and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Organize and maintain inventory locations; assist with cycle counts and stock rotation. Handle automotive parts with care to prevent damage or loss. Enter shipping and receiving data into inventory management systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve discrepancies. Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.

Qualifications:

Required to speak English High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. Minimum 1 year experience in operating a forklift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory systems is preferred. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
