Shipping Clerk 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33619 Position Summary The Shipping Clerk plays a key role in supporting the coordination and execution of freight operations. This position works closely with the Logistics team, Project Managers, and Superintendents to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of materials. Essential Functions Support and enforce all TTI/FSS Safety Policies to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of company property. Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and shipment documentation accurately. Verify contents and accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Assist the Logistics team in the movement of products within and out of the facility. Load and unload shipments, process related paperwork, and coordinate with drivers and shop personnel. Participate in periodic inventory counts and internal audits. Additional Duties Verify and mark materials on outgoing loads, which may require climbing onto trailers. Perform other duties as assigned to support the shipping and logistics team. Quality Standards Track shipments and maintain accurate, organized records and databases. Keep the work area and equipment clean, organized, and in proper working condition. Comply with all company safety procedures and protocols. Teamwork & Collaboration Teamwork is essential in this role. The Shipping Clerk must maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with cross-functional teams, including managers, superintendents, and other departments. Actively participate in safety meetings. Promote and contribute to the company’s safety-first culture in collaboration with the Safety Department. Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (preferred, not required)
