Shipping and Receiving 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Hialeah, FL 33018 Job Overview Our aviation company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the third shift 9p.m. to 6 a.m. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center, ensuring that all packages are accurately processed and tracked. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving protocols. Duties Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in packaging and documentation. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock locations. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials within the warehouse. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the implementation of best practices for shipping and receiving operations. Experience Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role within a distribution center or warehouse setting, such as Amazon, is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or MRP systems is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order processing. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
