JOB SUMMARY

The

RECEIVING CLERK

receives incoming shipments; inventory shipment against Packing list and Purchase Order, identify and record discrepancies, separate shipments; place materials into stock; fill Material Requisitions orders, fill Kit Pull orders.

Shift:

M-F 8:00AM – 4:30PM, Occasional weekends •This is a

HOT/COLD

environment depending on the time of year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Receive express shipments and sign for packages. 2. Separate packages according to Custom to Cast, Customer Returned Products, and Vendor/Sub-contractor shipments. 3. Prepare order form for Custom to Cast orders; deliver order and cast to Customer Service Department. 4. Log in Customer Returned Products; forward to Quality Control. 5. Obtain purchase orders for all vendor/sub-contractor packages received. 6. Contact Quality Control to inspect vendor/sub-contractor packages received. 7. Following QC inspection bag items and tag as appropriate. 8. Place incoming items in proper bin locations, rotating stock as required. 9. Fill Material Requisitions for assemblers (giving prompt attention to expedited orders). 10. Complete Material Requisition summary form for items handed out to assemblers and give that form to the Supervisor or Materials Manager at the end of the day. 11. Inform the Supervisor of items that are low or out of stock. 12. Check all incoming materials against back order list, advise Supervisor when back ordered items/materials are received. 13. Use the computer system to assist in the day-to-day operations. 14. Ability to read, write and understand English Language. 15. Keep a clean and safe work environment according to company/safety rules.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Move Materials with forklift when required; if certified. 2. Assist in “Kit Pulls” when requested. 3. Perform “Cycle Counts” when Supervisor requests. 4. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma. 2. Stockroom experience highly desirable. 3. Computer Data Entry experience desirable. 4. Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings desirable. 5. Forklift certified, Forklift experience.
