Job Title:

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to provide operational support in order fulfillment, inventory transactions, and customer service. This role involves a combination of warehouse and office duties, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities Pick orders and record lot numbers. Process inventory transactions in the inventory management system. Package and ship outbound orders. Provide customer service assistance with shipment inquiries. Receive surgical instruments and implant trays from field returns. Process received items in the inventory management system. Clean returned instruments and kits according to established procedures. Print and store product labels, label finished products, and perform chemical etching on instruments. Issue purchase orders to suppliers for materials and maintain communication to expedite products as needed. Submit request for quote (RFQ) packets to suppliers. Collaborate on value improvement programs to support lower costs and reduced lead time. Assist with purchasing and operational work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOP). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (QSR 820, ISO) and support company goals and objectives. Essential Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong computer skills, especially with Excel, including advanced formulas and functions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience working with ERP purchasing and planning systems. Strong team player with a flexible and results-oriented attitude. Experience in the medical device/spine industry is strongly preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment. Previous experience in shipping and receiving, buying, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and procurement is helpful. Experience responding to RFQs and creating purchase orders. Experience assigning lot numbers, receiving inventory, and processing returns is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role involves working in an air-conditioned warehouse and office environment. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00/hr.
