Shipping and Receiving 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Largo, FL 33774 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Duties • Manage the receipt of incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders against packing slips and purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them accurately for delivery. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks to move products safely within the facility. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts to ensure proper stock levels. Conduct regular inventory counts to identify discrepancies and assist in resolving issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling materials and operating equipment. Skills • Proficient in order fulfillment processes with a strong understanding of shipping and receiving operations. Experience operating warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and reach trucks is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management. Basic math skills for calculating weights, dimensions, and quantities of packages. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
