As we grow, we are looking to expand our logistics and shipping team with dependable and detail-oriented professionals. Position Overview We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations by managing incoming and outgoing freight, preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day Lift boxes over 50 lbs and safely stack/unload pallets Operate a forklift (must be forklift certified ) and manual pallet jack Use a shipping computer and automated freight portal to process shipments Receive incoming merchandise, inspect for damage, and verify counts Stock and organize inventory in designated locations Maintain adequate levels of shipping supplies and notify the Operations Manager when ordering is needed Process customer returns in line with company policies Assist Sales and Production departments by ensuring timely shipment of orders Call freight carriers as instructed by Warehouse Manager Fill out freight bills accurately and completely Stay past scheduled hours if needed to load the final truck of the day Keep the work area clean and organized ; sweep and dispose of debris regularly Stack and organize empty pallets Frequently bend, reach, lift, and move product to prepare it for packing or shipping Read and interpret product labels, packing slips, and shipping documents in English Requirements Forklift certification (required) Comfortable with physical labor including heavy lifting, bending, and standing Must be fluent in English to read shipping labels and product information Strong understanding of measurements and dimensions Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail Punctual and dependable with reliable transportation Willing to work overtime when needed to complete daily shipments
