Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role involves coordinating shipping and receiving operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and utilize computer systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Utilize computer systems to track shipments, update records, and process orders. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve inquiries or issues. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices. Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, or defects, and handle discrepancies appropriately. Maintain organized records of inventory, shipments, and receipts using software tools. Monitor inventory levels and assist in reordering materials as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring a seamless experience. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials. Comply with safety regulations and company policies during all shipping and receiving activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of NA, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
