Curant Health is searching for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join its team in Smyrna, GA. This position is primarily responsible for managing the prescription shipping process within the pharmacy. This position serves as a link between patient, physician, and pharmacy by performing the following duties. Responsibilities With your passion to help patients, your drive to make an impact on those you care for, and your commitment to customer service, you will serve as the primary link between our patients, physicians and pharmacy. We have listed a few or your responsibilities below: Selects appropriate vendor, inputs shipping information, and generates label for package Assembles orders and prepares / packs boxes for shipments Tracks and captures delivery of product and accurately transfers this data into an internal database. Stocks freezers with sufficient supplies and in the appropriate time frame to allow for proper freezing of cold packs Receives and unpacks materials and supplies required in the department Achieves 98% or greater accuracy rate Receives pharmacy inventory and assists with stocking shelves in the pharmacy. Generate reports using shipping vendor and internal software to maintain accurate reporting of deliveries. Ensures tracking of all shipments to final destination. Processes all returns and works with shipping vendors to re-route shipments as necessary. Replenish all shipping supplies Have a general understanding of and perform in compliance with the current Specialty Pharmacy v3.1 URAC standards applicable to the position. Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in GA Experience in a mail-order pharmacy environment preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA/ Patient Confidentiality Guidelines required Must pass criminal background screening and drug screen testing prior to employment Why Work for Us?
