Position Summary:

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for tracking and managing inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining an organized receiving area. Your efforts will directly support our mission of delivering quality products to our customers on time. Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings promptly. Verify the accuracy of received items against packing slips and resolve discrepancies as necessary. Ensure all consumer orders are processed and received within 24 hours of delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area following 5S principles. Collaborate with the receiving lead and operations manager on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred but not required. 1-3 years of warehouse experience, within receiving a plus. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform detail-oriented tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with warehouse management systems required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. Knowledge of cameras and related equipment is a bonus but not required. Must be able to work full-time on-site in Smyrna, GA.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time. The role involves lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. It also requires the ability to reach with arms and hands, including overhead and forward reaching, as well as the use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, or controls. The position may involve climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, depending on specific tasks. The job requires the ability to tolerate repetitive motion and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role also requires hearing abilities sufficient to communicate clearly, understand directions, and monitor work surroundings. Additionally, employees may be required to work in various environmental conditions, including warehouse settings, and may be exposed to heat, cold, or noise as necessary for the job. Why Join Us?
