ABOUT THE JOB
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for new and returned product as it enters the building. They verify that returned product is in saleable condition and ready for resale as well as controlling the inbound flow of product at the receiving dock. Previous warehouse receiving experience is preferred for this position. Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders to sort and segregate product. Follow and maintain product integrity as required by Silliker quality inspection standards. Determine and document overages, shorts, damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, and other features of the delivery. Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer, and assign doors. Cover for the Receiving Clerk as needed. Additional duties or special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor’s discretion.
