Shipping and Receiving Clerk 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Gainesville, GA 30504 1st shift 7:00 am-3:30 pm (possible overtime) The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receipt and shipment of all Company products, including customer equipment, and receipt of all purchased products, materials, and supplies.

• Operate fork truck, handtruck, or overhead crane to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment by comparing identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate discrepancies to Purchaser and Accounts Payable.
• Monitor inventory of shipping materials and supplies and coordinate with Purchaser as necessary for replenishment. Skills Required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency with word processing (e.g. MS Word or Google Docs) and spreadsheet (e.g. MS Excel or Google Sheets) software.
• Practical experience with logistics software and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
