We are seeking a Warehouse Operator for our New Iberia, LA location. We are located at 912 Highway 90 East, New Iberia, LA 70560. This position reports to the Assistant Spares Manager.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving, checking and signing of inbound shipments. Ensuring storage of items and certificates in/tosignated locations and people.
Administrative booking of receipts in the ERP system. Generate sales or & commercial invoice.
Picking and packing of ors. Maintain shipping and receiving logs and files of shipping records.
Operate forklift when ned. Drive the company vehicle to makeliveries.
Printing of transport documentation and labels for picked ors. Repacking/relabeling, weighing and measuring dimensions of items. Informing the transport company about collection of shipments.
Check and ensure the availability of warehouse consumables like packing materials, cartridges, etc. Reporting and documenting discrepancies by completing and forwarding required forms.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment to prevent issues and incnts. Reporting improvement opportunities to Regional Spares Manager.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma is preferred. Experience in/or affinity with logistics. (Experience with technical products and maritime industry is an advantage.)
Able to work both ipently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP
Warehouse equipment maintenance
Inventory control skills
Must have clean driving record
