GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Receives all incoming freight and package deliveries. Receives all returns evaluate and direct them appropriately. Perform cycle counts when called on.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned)1. Physically count all freight and reconcile with the delivery receipt for accuracy, noting any shortages or damages at the time of delivery.2. Receive all incoming freight physically and into SAP daily.3. Contact Purchasing and Supervisor with any discrepancies in the count, product identification, Damages, Shortage/Overage, and Log truck Net weight.4. Keep receiving paperwork in files organized by day.5. Manage all freight transport to proper departments and have the department lead sign for the product.6. All incoming freight must be removed from the receiving dock when it arrives and moved to the proper department or storage location.7. Physically count Aluminum log trucks, including measuring the log, and receiving it into the system.8. Assist in cycle counts in FG01 when called upon as time permits.9. Assist in the movement of scrap trailers.10. Relay to the Material Manager when cardboard bales need to be picked up11. Monitor the wood scrap dumpster and coordinate with removal/replacement in a timely manner.12. Monitor trash smasher and trash dumpster and coordinate removal replacement in a timely manner.13. Completes RGA paperwork and notifies supervisor of the RGA for verification. This needs to be completed the day the RGA is delivered to us.14. Inspect returned materials either return to stock, move to packing, or scrap materials. If uncertain contact Supervisor.15. Purchased longer pallets are stored in the pallet yard with like sizes together. Area to be kept organized daily.16. Works within the guidelines of the quality program.17. Ensures good housekeeping in the work area.18. Reports problems or accidents to management immediately.19. Gives proper consideration to safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.20. Performs related work as required.
