Our client is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Shipper to join their team and ensure the smooth preparation, packaging, and dispatching of outgoing shipments. Responsibilities of the Part Time Shipper Prepare and package products for shipment according to company and customer specifications. Generate and affix appropriate shipping labels and documentation. Inspect outgoing packages to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with shipping regulations. Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight companies) for pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate shipping records and logs. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Assist with unloading and organizing incoming inventory when needed. Operate shipping equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners, tape dispensers). Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. Requirements of the Part Time Shipper High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work varied part-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed.
