C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Shipping Clerk in Jefferson City. Salary/hours for
Shipping Clerk:
$17/hr.; Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Responsibilities for
Shipping Clerk:
maintain accurate and timely preparation, coordination and tracking of all outgoing shipments
enter data into shipping system
read and interpret job tickets
communicate regularly with internal teams, customers and shipping providers
perform physical activities such as lifting, reaching and standing for extended periods
maintain a strong focus on detail, quality and safety Requirements for
Shipping Clerk:
experience with shipping/receiving processes preferred
ability to do heavy lifting (60 lbs), pulling and pushing activity; may include reaching, stooping and standing during shift
ability to read and interpret job tickets and instructions
comfortable entering data into shipping software
good attendance record and ability to follow standard work methods
