Lead Shipping Associate Position Available In Alamance, North Carolina

Trivantage is recruiting for a Lead Shipping Associate which will be the lead within the shipping department. When you join Glen Raven, you play a critical role and your input matters. Responsibilities:

Follow all safety requirements and ensure other associates in area following safety requirements. Along with actively participating in LTL shipping, direct and assign other associates as needed in shipping area. Train new associates in proper LTL shipping. Ensure associates are hitting production requirements. Ensure associates are following all SOPs set forth by Trivantage (pallet loading and preparation SOPs) Ensure associates are following break/lunch schedules. Maintain housecleaning goals in and around the shipping dock area Regularly audit orders for accuracy. Ensure every customer and Branch orders ship according to TE standards. Ensure all instructions are followed at pack stations and creating BOLs. Ensure all BOLs/paperwork is completed properly. Ensure all items are accounted for on each outbound shipment. All other duties as needed and requested by management.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or associate’s degree Preferred Extensive knowledge of shipping area, including processes and procedures Proficiency with Sterling WMS system Proficient with Raven Rater Willingness to pitch in when and where needed Ability to work well with all associates
