Shipping/Receiving Clerk 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 201 South Buckoak Street, Stanley, NC 28164 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for thorougly checking and signing off on shipping/receiving documents. Organization of products used in production and maintenance of the daily parts inventory in an orderly manner. Assisting in the shipping department with preparation of product for delivery will also be part of the daily responsiblilty. From time to time, this position will also drive the company delivery trucks. These are non CDL trucks but does require awarness of your surroundings, valid drivers license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle report. This position will require the ability to pass an initial drug test and random drug tests as directed by management. Duties Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are accurately labeled and documented. Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move products within the shipping/receiving area. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating records in the MRP system. Collaborate with team members to optimize order fulfillment processes and improve efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; J & L Machine & Fabrication certification will be required. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
