Job Description
Shipping and Receiving Gray Manufacturing Technologies, LLC 3570 Denver Drive, Denver, NC 28037 Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation
- Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, records shortages/damages
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the facility
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving areas Education and Background
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory management
- Experience with forklift operation and pallet jack usage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members
