Aviation Materials Specialist (Entry-Level)

Charlotte, North Carolina
In-Flight Crew Connections is hiring a Materials Specialist to support a busy aircraft maintenance facility (Part 145 Repair Station) in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity to start a career in aviation logistics and gain hands-on experience with aircraft parts and materials handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Materials Manager with daily tasks related to shipping, receiving, and storing aircraft parts and tools
Assist with receiving items into the inventory system (Corridor software—training provided)
Help inspect tools and parts for proper condition and labeling
Assist with packing and shipping items like tools and parts to vendors or other locations
Deliver parts and materials to mechanics and technicians as needed for ongoing aircraft maintenance work
Keep work areas organized and follow basic warehousing procedures
Communicate clearly with team members and leadership to support workflow
Learn to handle RFQs (requests for quotes), purchase orders, and tracking deliveries (training provided)
Serve as a backup to the Materials Manager when needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software (preferred but not required)
Prior experience in shipping/receiving, parts handling, or a warehouse setting is helpful but not required —we will train the right candidate.
