Provides necessary documentation to the Customer Service Department for invoicing purposes. Inspects all incoming material for damage and files freight claims as needed. Ensures quality of packaging is acceptable to prevent damage in shipment. Stocks material within 2 days of receipt of the goods. Organizes and maintains the warehouse and other raw material and finished goods storage areas in a clean and orderly manner. Ensures all incoming material has been properly labeled with the correct part number. Ships complete orders and only back-order material at the direction of the Shipping Supervisor Ensures that adequate shipping supplies are maintained within economic limits as directed by the Shipping Supervisor Proven experience as shipping clerk or similar position Demonstrated knowledge of computer programs for entering data Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities High school diploma/GED.
