Work Shift:

Day Shift, Monday – Friday 40 hours per week plus overtime occasionally. Major Areas of Responsibility Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Safety-minded in all work activities; suggest and recommend safety initiatives; commitment to safe work habits. Understanding daily production goals and working at a pace that meets or exceeds those requirements.

Processing orders:

Receiving requests and pulling orders, packing boxes, and printing, pulling, and packing, loading orders on the truck.

Maintaining inventory:

Conducting regular inventory counts, scanning inventory, and keeping accurate records of all items that enter or leave the facility.

Inspecting products:

Checking incoming goods against projects or other documents, recording shortages, and rejecting damaged goods.

Organizing the warehouse:

Keeping the warehouse clean and clutter-free, and maintaining an organized shipping station Following procedures: Adhering to company regulations and national shipping best practices

Communicating:

Collaborating with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products Operating equipment: Unloading trucks and deliveries, and operating warehouse equipment. Inspecting the completion and quality of the assigned job before it moves to the next step in the shipping process. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities This position requires the following essential knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfactorily fulfill the position. Previous forklift experience Experience in generating shipping labels, completing necessary paperwork, and updating shipment tracking information. The ability to use basic mathematics including fractions for measuring, cutting, and calculating lengths and widths of materials. Detailed oriented using fine visual and manual skills. The ability to use basic hand tools such as nail gun, drills, screws, and a tape measure. The ability work in a fast-paced environment for an extended period of time. The ability to read and understand layouts, shop orders and process control documents. nNLq9MTw8A
