• to join our team for four months or longer temporary assignment with the possibility of being hired permanently.

• JOB SUMMARY

• This position works with the operations pharmacist, operations supervisor and pharmacy technicians to coordinate, assemble and package patient orders for shipment. Responsible for maintaining the stock in the warehouse area in a clean and organized manner.
• In this role you will be responsible for:
• + Retrieve shipping documents and labels from printers and organize them for picking.

+ Assist in the packing and shipping of medications. Receive non-pharmaceuticals via back dock. + Ability to learn computer systems and work with MS Word and Excel programs. + Organized, detail orientated and problem-solving skills important to the position + Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to use 10-key pad on computer; computer knowledge and typing of 20 wpm desired. + This position is physically demanding, must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• + 1+ years warehouse shipping and receiving experience + 1+ Microsoft Office systems + Verifiable High School Diploma or equivalent

• TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires sitting for long periods of time.

Some bending, stretching or reaching required. Requires the physical dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
