The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for filling and shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, performing incoming inspections as required, filling and shipping subcontract material to suppliers, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
General Warehouse activities to include: picking, shipping, receiving, stocking, and labeling of materials. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock. Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse to ensure efficiency is attained. Ensure productivity targets. Ensure warehousing activities comply with FDA GMP guidelines. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Assists in creating and implementing quality system procedures. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operate hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving area to storage or work area. Other duties as assigned by the

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in warehousing including picking, packing, shipping, receiving Skills /
Technical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25lbs or more Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results on time Experience in use of computers including shipping software Self-motivated individual with ability to perform under little supervision Good communication skills and ability to professionally interact with any level in an organization. Background in medical suppliers, warehousing preferred, but not required Familiarity with bar-coding activities Quality Assurance background helpful Experience working in an ISO or FDA regulated industry Experience with inventory cycle counts SAP or other supply chain management software
