This includes the accurate and safe movement and storage of subcontract product going to and returning from suppliers. The accurate accounting of product in the inventory control system is required as product moves throughout the facility. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial objectives and other performance metrics. Principle Responsibilities Issue product to job routers and deliver to appropriate work centers Perform weekly cycle-counting to ensure product counts are correct Deliver received product to specific areas or people within the manufacturing plant Operate company van to make local delivery of product Other functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:
1 year relevant work experience Prior experience operating equipment such as a forklift, picker, or power jack
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment Basic Math and computer skills Detail Oriented Ability to maintain accurate records Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Good communication and organizational skills Other Requirements Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
