Job Description:

The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver position maintains inventory control in the Warehouse as well as order fulfillment of Warehouse inventory orders.

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to work as a member of the team
• Must possess attention to detail and maintain quality control on all incoming and outgoing product
• Must have the ability to work independently and have good time management skills
• Must have a forklift license
• Must have general computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Must have experience creating accurate

Bill of Ladings and Load Tags Restrictions and Limitations:

• Must be able to individually lift weight of up to 50 pounds consistently
• Must be able to assist other team members in lifting heavier weights
• Must be able to stand for three (3) hours at a time

Responsibilities:

• Keeps track of all Warehouse inventory and has the ability to locate inventory quickly
• Maintains documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventory
• Weighs product accurately by using the scale
• Prepares Warehouse inventory stock for shipping based on current orders
• Prepares pallets and crates for shipping
• Differentiates between all product that Index Packaging maintains
• Loads and unloads trailers efficiently and safely
• Understands all paperwork that goes through Warehouse
• Takes direction from Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead Employee and completes tasks in a timely manner
• Is able to use a safety knife (box cutter)
• Is able to read a tape measure to the fractions of measurement
• Is able to count to 500 pieces or units easily and accurately
