Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in the production process by ensuring materials and supplies are accurately pulled and verified according to production orders. This position is responsible for maintaining in-process inventory at work centers and delivering or opening products as needed. Additionally, the role involves keeping loading areas and machinery clean and organized. Responsibilities Pull and verify materials and supplies according to production orders. Maintain in-process inventory at work centers. Deliver or open products for clients as required. Ensure loading areas and machinery remain clean and organized. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in material handling. General labor skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving. Ability to conduct inventory counts and cycle counts. Work Environment The work environment is in a manufacturing setting, requiring proficiency in handling materials and maintaining cleanliness in loading areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Branchburg, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $19.00/hr.
