Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Associate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and refining product data to support customer experiences on e-commerce and marketplace platforms. This role involves comprehensive data management including product categorization, competitive analysis, pricing strategy support, and data integrity maintenance. The position requires advanced analytical skills and Excel proficiency to work with large datasets, perform data scraping, and structure operational information that supports critical business functions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collect and structure operational and customer-facing data for e-commerce platform. Merchandise products with product taxonomy/hierarchies, attributes, filters, and search terms to enhance customer navigation Review and present competitor merchandising strategies for product categories Perform data audits and normalization to ensure data integrity prior to implementation Assist with strategic pricing strategies and help develop pricing models Use data scraping methods to gather comprehensive product information for data file creation Structure operational data that supports purchasing, shipping, and invoicing functions
Required Skills/Abilities:
