Job Description
Shipping and Receiving Specialist 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Buffalo, NY 14225 We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join the team! This is a vital role in the warehouse operations, ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and shipped to valued customers. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities :
Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by inspecting packages for damages or discrepancies. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update shipment records. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments. Perform order picking and packing duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience :
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations. Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management. ERP experience. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
