The Sorter will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility by ensuring that products are accurately sorted, packaged, and prepared for shipping. This position is essential for maintaining the quality of our inventory and supporting our commitment to excellent customer service. Duties Sort and categorize products according to specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Package sorted items for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Assist in shipping and receiving operations as needed, including loading and unloading deliveries. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to product availability and order status. Utilize forklift equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support sales efforts by maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting in stock management within the grocery store environment. Qualifications Previous experience in sorting, packaging, or similar roles is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse teams and customers. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is a plus but can be obtained on the job.
