Shipping and Receiving Position Available In Suffolk, New York

Shipping and Receiving CEM Ltd. 700 Blue Point Road, Holtsville, NY 11742

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips/invoices Accurately sort, label, and store received goods in appropriate locations Prepare and package outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) for pickups and deliveries Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems

Skills:

Basic knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Forklift certification (preferred or required depending on the role) Familiarity with shipping platforms (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) is a plus
