Lead Shipper/Receiver Shore Corporation Ambridge, PA 15003 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver . In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have experience with warehouse management systems, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them correctly. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock locations. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts to load and unload goods. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts and order fulfillment. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred. Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory is advantageous. Basic math skills are essential for accurate order processing and inventory management.
