Shipping and Receiving Clerk
FABRIC DEVELOPMENT/ KORDSA
Quakertown, PA 18951 Shipping / Receiving Clerk – This position receives raw materials and ships finished goods. The position is located in the Shipping / Receiving Department. Education • High School Diploma or equivalent Tasks and Work Activities Receive and inspect raw materials into Inventory, verify that quantities received and material type are correct, label material accordingly Move raw materials to appropriate location in plant Inspect / Box finished goods as produced, put into finished inventory Off loom inspection of finished goods, cutting rolls into specific lengths Schedule shipping pick-ups with truckers or UPS Prepare finished goods for shipment Perform visual inspections of work area to assure that area is safe Communicating with Supervisors – Providing necessary information to supervisors regarding any issues regarding the raw materials, or finished goods or shipping instructions Other duties as required by management
