Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk AFC Industries PA 232 South Poplar Street, Berwick, PA 18603 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. Your expertise in shipping and receiving processes will ensure that all packages are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and a strong understanding of e-commerce logistics. Duties Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory levels. Utilize AS400 software for tracking shipments and managing inventory. Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move products safely within the warehouse. Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment. Inspect packages for damage and verify contents against packing lists. Maintain organized stock areas to facilitate efficient retrieval of items. Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping processes and improve overall efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment within the warehouse. Requirements Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Proficient in using AS400 software for inventory management. Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of e-commerce logistics and package handling best practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Physical capability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
