What You’ll Be Doing:

In the role of Shipping and Receiving, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring timely order fulfillment and accurate shipping processes. You will leverage your core skills in warehouse experience and shipping & receiving to manage inventory effectively. Your proficiency with premium skills such as forklift operation and warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. Additionally, your relevant skills in e-commerce, packaging, and order picking will support our commitment to quality service. Prepare and package items for shipment Create shipping labels and documentation Schedule outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and report discrepancies Properly log all incoming inventory and distribute materials to the correct departments Organize and maintain receiving areas for safety and efficiency Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods Qualifications Proven experience in shipping and receiving within a distribution center or warehouse environment, proficiency in order fulfillment and packaging processes (2 years) Familiarity with warehouse management systems Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks Strong basic math skills for inventory management Experience with e-commerce order processing and picking & packing procedures Valid Driver’s License Reliable transportation #CM1
