Receiving Specialist 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Easton, PA 18040 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The Receiver will play a critical role in managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a well-organized stock area. This position requires proficiency in various warehouse equipment and systems to facilitate efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all items match the purchase orders. Verifying shipments against purchase orders and ensuring Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are received Load and unload products using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols. Using RF scanners Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software. Organize stock in designated areas, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy access for order picking. Assist with order fulfillment by picking items accurately and efficiently based on customer orders. Conduct regular stock counts to verify inventory levels and report discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment. Preparing and forwarding receiving documentation Requirements Experience in shipping/receiving Forklift experience and valid driver’s license Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks is essential. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to safety practices within the warehouse setting.
