Shipping Clerk (1st Shift) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Job Summary Shipping Clerks play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. These positions involve managing the dispatch of metal products while maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of operating various warehouse equipment. Duties Load and unload products from trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts. Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type, and prepare for shipment. Track inventory and manage stock levels accurately. Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality. Assemble skids, boxes, and/or other containers. Put shipping labels on packed containers, boxes, and /or skids. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals, ensuring timely processing of all orders. Ensure packing lists are accurate. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy. Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficient in operating pallet jacks and forklifts. Knowledge of order picking and packing processes required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of our shipping and receiving processes, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through accurate order fulfillment.
