Shipping Associate Location:
Cranston, RI Pay:
$21-$24/hr. depending on experience
Employment Type:
Full-time We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Associate to join our team through Express Employment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and knowledgeable in shipping processes and systems. Pay ranges from $20-$24 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with Customer Service & Warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Organize and distribute pick lists to warehouse staff. Accurately pick, process, and ship orders using an ERP system. Generate packing lists, material certifications, and bills of lading. Ensure shipments comply with customer policies and routing guides. Prepare and ship international orders, including customs documentation. Schedule local and international pickups. Use FedEx, UPS, and DHL software to process shipments. Ship hazardous materials in compliance with regulations. Maintain organized and accessible filing of shipping paperwork. Monitor and respond to internal shipping-related email requests. Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and investigating customer complaints. Perform material cycle counts and quality control checks.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving in a warehouse environment. Proficiency with FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping software. Experience using ERP systems to process and track shipments. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Initiative and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and time management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Fluent in English with solid reading comprehension. Strong basic math skills.
