Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper and Receiver to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This is a vital role in our distribution center, and we are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders or invoices
• Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
• Sort, label, and organize received goods
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items accordingly
• Ensure that all shipping documents, such as invoices and packing-slips, are accurate and properly attached to the shipments
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred
• Basic math skills to accurately count inventory and perform calculations
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and external partners This is a part-time position. Monday
