Position Summary:
The Scale Clerk operates the truck scale, ensuring accurate weight documentation, excellent customer service, and smooth site traffic coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and record data accurately. Issue load tickets and ensure compliance with material handling regulations. Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and team members. Maintain organized records of daily transactions. Perform administrative duties at the scale house as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Previous scale clerk or dispatch experience preferred. Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions.
