Shipping and Receiving King Steel Corporation 2527 East National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC 29506 Job Description The Shipping and Receiving is responsible for assisting in all shipping and receiving related activities and is a key contributor to maintaining the quality of products produced by King Steel. It is important to understand all processes and procedures that this position entails. Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the Responsibilities section below. • Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
• Must have overhead crane experience
• Knowledge of using a computer
• Checking in loads (paperwork)
• Shipping out materials (paperwork)
• Attendance
• Transportation Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to sit while working on a computer for extended periods of time
• Must be able to position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead
• Must be able to perform activities while on a ladder
• Noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud
• Must be able to operate in a hot environment for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods of time Hourly rate will be based on experience.
